Invest Europe Chair & Board


Our Chair

Invest Europe's Chair is chosen amongst Platform Council members and elected on an annual basis by the Invest Europe Board of Directors. The Chair takes ultimate responsibility for delivering the Association’s services and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to represent members and promote their interests in Europe. The Chair is also a spokesperson for the Association and the industry worldwide.

Anne Fossemalle

Anne Fossemalle, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

Anne Fossemalle has been Director, Equity Funds at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since 2009. Anne has over 25 years of private equity experience and holds numerous Supervisory Board and Investment Committee memberships with major fund managers within the EBRD geography. Anne joined the EBRD in 1993 from Natixis and has worked in several capacities prior to heading Equity Funds, notably leading EBRD’s debt and direct equity investments into financial institutions.

Anne holds Masters degrees from Stanford University, Ecole Nationale du Génie Rural, des Eaux et des Forêts (France) and Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon (France).

Our Board

Invest Europe is managed by a Board of Directors, elected at the Invest Europe Ordinary General Meeting (OGM).

The Board of Directors is comprised of: 

  • Up to three members from each Invest Europe Platform Council
  • Invest Europe Chair
  • Invest Europe Chair-elect

The Board of Directors manages all Invest Europe's activities and takes the lead on industry issues. It also assesses Platform action plans and reviews the allocation of resources by the Association. In addition, the Board oversees Invest Europe’s financial and operational performance, as well as its long-term strategy.

How to manage cookies in Internet Explorer

Cookie settings in most versions of Internet Explorer can be found by clicking the tools option and then the privacy tab.

How to manage cookies in Chrome

Click on the spanner icon on the toolbar, select settings, click the under the bonnet tab, click on content settings in the privacy section.

How to manage cookies in Opera 

You can manage cookies in Opera if you Click on settings, then Preferences, then Advanced and finally Cookies

How to manage cookies in Safari

Choose Safari, then preferences and then click security. You should then be able to specify if and when Safari should accept cookies.

What happens if I don't accept cookies?
